We greet you in the Name that is above every other name—a name that binds us in hope, purpose, and shared destiny.
It has come to the attention of Team Tinubu Diaspora 2027 that a nationwide protest is being organized under the banner of GenZy, scheduled for October 1st, 2025. While we fully acknowledge and respect the constitutional right of every Nigerian to express their views, we urge the organizers and participants to consider a more constructive path: one rooted in dialogue, collaboration, and national development.
Nigeria Is Undergoing Reform—Let’s Not Derail Progress
Our beloved nation is currently navigating a critical phase of reform and renewal. Under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Nigeria is undergoing transformative changes in economic policy, infrastructure development, and governance. These reforms are not without challenges, but they are necessary steps toward long-term prosperity and stability.
Demonstrations, even when well-intentioned, carry the risk of being hijacked by opportunists who seek to exploit public sentiment for selfish political gain. We must remain vigilant and protect the progress we’ve already achieved. Let us not allow frustration to become a tool for division.
Dialogue Over Disruption
We strongly encourage the leaders of the GenZy movement to engage with government representatives, policy makers, and civil society groups. Constructive engagement is the cornerstone of democracy. It is through dialogue—not disruption—that we build a nation that reflects the hopes and dreams of all Nigerians.
